The Thank You and Order Status Page campaign type is a brand new way to gain more referrals from your store by having more interactions with your customers. 

This campaign can be placed on the Thank You Page, the Order Status Page or BOTH! This means that whenever a customer makes a purchase, the campaign would be visible for them to sign up and start referring on the thank you page, right after they make a purchase, and also every time they go see the status of their order on the order status page. 

Important to note that this campaign type is only available for those who have upgraded their Thank you and Order Status pages to Shopify's new Checkout Extension. If you have upgraded and would like to replace your old Post Purchase Modal campaigns - read this article.

How to Set Up the Thank You / Order Status Page Campaign

1. Create a new campaign as you usually would by following the guided onboarding steps.
   
   
2. On Step 4, Appearance, click "Thank You / Order Status Page" when selecting a campaign type.
   
   
3. Complete the Steps and "Save Campaign" at the end of Step 5. The following steps are also present on the Installation Instructions that are available to you right after saving the campaign or by going to Campaigns>Edit the campaign you wish to set up>Installation Instructions. 
   
4. Copy Your Campaign ID - This is found in your URL. For example in the following URL, the campaign ID  is 123: https://admin.shopify.com/store/akshay-shopcircle/apps/dev-akshay-referrals/campaign/123?tab=8
   
5. Navigate to Sales Channels > Online Store > Themes.
   
   
6. Select Customize to enter the theme builder.
   
   
   
7. Click the top dropdown menu labelled "Home page" and select "Checkout and customer accounts".
   
   
   
8. Click the dropdown again and choose either the "Thank You" or "Order Status" page, depending on where you want to place your campaign.
   
   
9. Add the app block associated with your campaign.
   
   
   
10. Insert your campaign ID into the app block settings and click save. Your Done! Now make sure you preview the campaign to ensure everything is as expected.
    

How to Preview Your Campaign: 

1. To preview your campaign on the Order Status page, find an order in Shopify, click "More actions", and select "View order status page".
   
   
   
2. To preview it on the Thank You page, place a test order to view the campaign.
