Overview

There are a couple reasons you may have issues seeing the Motivator bar.

• You are previewing your store as the admin
  If you are logged into your store as an admin, a black administrator bar will be displayed by Shopify. This will cover the top of the page which can hide the SC Sales Motivator bar. A regular customer would not see the admin bar. Logging out will correct this problem.
  
  
• You are using an Ajax cart
  Another cause is the use of an Ajax add to cart function. When this is used, your customer will stay on the product page when the add to cart button is selected. The page does not refresh.
  The motivator bar requires a page refresh to appear. If this does not happen, the motivator bar won't appear until the user goes to another page. It's not possible to have it trigger on add to cart. The Ajax cart would need to be disabled in order for Motivator to work.
  
  One of two things can be done to fix this:
  • Disable the Ajax Add to Cart Functionality in the Theme; or
