Overview
The free gift reward allows you to offer your advocates a free reward once they hit a milestone. This can be a free sample of a product that they can purchase on your store, or maybe some merchandise of your brand. Whatever you choose to offer will be sure to incentivize your customers to refer their friends so they can receive a free gift.
Once your customers reach the set milestone, they will receive a free gift reward (just like they receive a discount code, gift card or other rewards). They will receive an email, with a link for them to claim the reward. Once on the Claim page, they will choose the variant, and go through the checkout process. This will create a $0 order on your Shopify store for the free gift.
Set up
- From your Conjured Referrals admin, you will want to go to the controls of an existing campaign, or create a new campaign.
- Under Advocate Incentive, choose Free Gift Reward.
- Choose Select Product.
- This will bring up a modal to choose the product you want to be awarded as a free gift. Select your Product (you can choose all or only some variants) and then Add.
Note: Only one product may be chosen, you can have multiple variants, but only one product. - Select Save.
You are now offering your customers a free gift reward.
Additional Information/Suggestions
- The order that is created in Shopify will be $0 and have no shipping rate. That will be up to you to fulfill the order for the customer.
- You are able to customize the Claim Page as well as the Free Gift emails (Claim and Reminder) to match your brand.
- You can change your Advocate Reward Ratio for your campaign if you want your advocates to have to refer multiple friends to receive the free gift reward. This can be done on the Controls page, under Additional Options.
- If you don't want you advocates to receive more than one free gift, you can set the Maximum Allowed Advocate Rewards to 1. This can be done on the Controls page, under Additional Options.
