3. Configure Earning Rules
Earning rules are how your customers gain points for completing specific actions like signing up, making purchases, or promoting your store on social media.
- Purchasing Product (per dollar) - Customers will earn points based on the dollar value of each purchase they make on your store. We recommend either keeping this set at 1 or using a multiple of 10 to make things easier for both yourself and your customers.
- Signing Up - Customers will earn points for subscribing. We recommend providing enough points so customers are incentivized to redeem a reward right away.
- Celebrating Birthdays - Customers will earn points every year that they're subscribed to your loyalty program. We recommend providing a number of points that's based on your Average Order Value multiplied by the Purchasing Product Value.
- Share on Facebook - Customers will earn points when sharing their purchases on Facebook.
- Share on Twitter - Customers will earn points when sharing their purchases on Twitter.
Please visit Edit Your Earning Rules for more information.
4. Configure Rewards
Reward Tiers
Reward tiers are program levels your customers can reach to receive bigger and better rewards. These rewards can be a dollar amount off of an order, a percentage off of an order, free shipping, or a custom reward.
By default, we recommend offering a 2% return of your customer's purchase amount, but this depends on your profit margins.
Please visit Create and Edit Your Custom Rewards for more information.
