Overview
When you set up your product options and use the Adjust price selection, you can then choose one of 5 ways to handle the quantities.
To view these options, select Show Advanced Settings.
Option quantity matches product quantity
When using this selection, the number of products the customer has chosen will determine the number of options that are added (IE. 1 product = 1 option).
The quantity and price will display in the checkout as a total for the product combined with its option, and the subtotal will show the total of all products and options combined as one amount.
Example - Product Page
The Total Extras will display 1x the option price even if the quantity selector is 1 or more.
Example - Cart Page
Each row of the cart will display one product, its quantity, and the cost of your options.
The cart will display the subtotal as the entire cart's total.
Calculation Breakdown
- Product cost: $10.00 x 3 = $30.00
- Option cost: $10.00 x 3 = $30.00
- Total: $60.00
Customer can choose option quantity
The customer can select the number of options they receive (IE. 1 product can come with more than 1 option).
The quantity and price will display in the checkout as a total for the product combined with its options, and the subtotal will show the product totals and the options totals as two separate amounts.
The quantity entered will be multiplied based on the quantity of base product chosen.
Example - Product Page
The customer has the ability to enter their desired quantity of the priced option.
This will not add quantity to the core product.
Example - Cart Display
Each row of the cart will display one product, its quantity, along with its price.
The cart will display the subtotal as the cost of the core product + the cost of your priced option(s).
Calculation Breakdown
Product cost: $10.00 x 1 = $10.00
Option cost: $10.00 x 3 = $30.00
Total: $40.00
Add one option item per product in cart
The customer can select 1 option for each product, so each product in the cart will have its own, singular option.
The subtotal will show the amount for the products combined, and the amount for the options separately. The option quantity will stay at 1 no matter what the quantity is for that product.

The Total Extras will display 1x the option price even if the quantity selector is 1 or more.
