Can I use Product Options and Facebook Pixel together?

While we do not have an official integration between Facebook Pixel and Product Options 2.0, there is partial compatibility depending on how you plan to use Facebook Pixel on your store.

• If you are using Facebook Pixel with the intention of just tracking general actions, such as Add to Cart and Checkout events, our Merchant Success team can tweak Product Options to work alongside Facebook Pixel. This tweak involves removing the file upload feature from your theme, which will prevent you from being able to use the File Upload option type on any of your products.
• If you plan to use Facebook Pixel with the intention of tracking when priced options are added into the cart, a customization will need to be added into your theme in order for the priced options to track properly with Facebook Pixel. This customization can be completed with the help from our partners at HeyCarson.

Can I use Product Options and Shopify variants together?

Yes, you can use Product Options and Shopify variants together.

You may want to keep some Shopify variants present for some unique circumstances, like to help update your product page image when a certain color is selected, etc.

If you use Product Options and Shopify variants together, you may also want to change their placement and how they appear on your product page(s).
