Preview Doesn't Match Hex Code

If the color preview in the app editor does not match the hex code you entered, follow these checklist steps to verify your hex code entries.

Step 1: Verify Hex Code Syntax

Check that all 6 characters are valid using numbers 0-9 and letters a-f.

Step 2: Remove Spacing & Extra Characters

Ensure there are no extra spaces, invalid symbols, or accidental characters pasted inside the hex code input field.

Step 3: Refresh the Editor

Refresh the app page or editor if the color swatch preview fails to update automatically after entering a valid code.
