Overview

Accessibility settings help you customize the admin interface for better visibility and comfort. These settings affect how you view and interact with the app, not the customer-facing storefront.

Adjust display and text size settings to improve visibility and readability for the app interface.

Admin Interface Only

These settings apply to your admin experience in the app. They do not affect how customers see product options on your storefront.

Display & Text Size

Adjust text size, enable bold fonts, and apply color blindness filters for a more comfortable viewing experience.

Settings

Enable Accessibility Settings

Toggle to activate accessibility features. When disabled, all accessibility customizations are turned off.

Bold Font

When enabled:

  • All text appears in bold weight
  • Improves readability for users with visual impairments
  • Makes text stand out more clearly

When disabled:

  • Normal font weight used throughout the app

Font Size Adjustment

Adjust the size of text, icons, and other elements using the slider.

Small (A) ← slider → Large (A)

  • Drag slider left to decrease size
  • Drag slider right to increase size
  • Applies to all app interface elements
  • Find the size most comfortable for your viewing

Color Blindness Settings

Apply color filters to assist with different types of color blindness.

FilterTypeHelps With
OffNoneDefault colors (no filter)
Red/Green FilterProtanopiaRed color blindness
Green/Red FilterDeuteranopiaGreen color blindness
Blue/Yellow FilterTritanopiaBlue color blindness
GrayAchromatopsiaComplete color blindness

How it works:

  • Select the filter that matches your color vision needs
  • Filter applies to entire app interface
  • Colors are adjusted to improve distinguishability
  • Helps identify elements that rely on color coding

How to Use

  1. Navigate to App SettingsAccessibility
  2. Toggle Enable accessibility settings on
  3. Adjust settings as needed:
    • Enable Bold font if desired
    • Drag Font Size Adjustment slider to preferred size
    • Select appropriate Color Blindness filter
  4. Changes apply immediately (no save required)
  5. Use Preview button to test settings

Best Practices

Font Size:

  • Start with default and adjust incrementally
  • Test with different sections of the app
  • Ensure all text remains readable without horizontal scrolling

Color Blindness Filters:

  • Choose the filter that matches your specific type of color vision deficiency
  • Test with color-coded elements (status badges, charts, etc.)
  • Switch to "Off" if colors appear distorted

Bold Font:

  • Helpful for reducing eye strain during long sessions
  • Combine with font size adjustment for maximum readability
  • May make UI feel more crowded in some sections
