Configuration
Enable or disable the rule and set how many points are awarded on the account anniversary (e.g., 150 points).
Setup Instructions
Go to: Loyalty Program → Earn Points → Shop Anniversary Earning Rule
Enable the rule → Set points → Save.
Anniversary Date Determination
The anniversary is based on the account creation date in Shopify.
Points are awarded each year on that date, regardless of order activity.
Point Distribution Schedule
The system checks daily for customers whose anniversary matches today and awards points if they haven’t already received them this year.
Annual Reward
Customers earn anniversary points once per year.
Example:
Year 1 > 150 points
Year 2 > 150 points
Year 3 > 150 points

Send personalized emails highlighting customer achievements (total orders, favorites, total spend) and award points with exclusive anniversary discounts to strengthen emotional connection and loyalty.

Set points high enough to feel special compared to routine rewards
