Store Visit Earning Rule

The Store Visit Earning Rule rewards customers with loyalty points simply for visiting your online store. This encourages frequent engagement, increases brand recall, and helps keep shoppers returning, even when they’re not ready to purchase.

How Cooldown Works

The cooldown prevents customers from earning visit points repeatedly within a short timeframe.

Example (2-day cooldown):

Day 1 (Mon): Customer visits earns 10 points cooldown starts Day 2 (Tue): Visits No points (still in cooldown) Day 3 (Wed): Visits Earns 10 points cooldown resets


What counts as a visit:

A visit will award points only if:

  • Customer is logged in to their store account

  • The visited page has the loyalty widget enabled

  • The cooldown period has ended

Not counted as visits:

  • Guest browsing

  • Pages without the loyalty widget

  • Admin or checkout pages

  • Automated/bot traffic
