The Store Visit Earning Rule rewards customers with loyalty points simply for visiting your online store. This encourages frequent engagement, increases brand recall, and helps keep shoppers returning, even when they’re not ready to purchase.
Configuration
Where to find it:
Keystone Loyalty Rewards App > Loyalty Program > Earn Points > Store Visit
| Setting | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Enable/Disable | Turn the rule on or off | Enabled |
| Points Awarded | Points given per eligible visit | 10 points |
| Cooldown Period | Minimum number of days between rewarded visits | 2 days |
How Cooldown Works
The cooldown prevents customers from earning visit points repeatedly within a short timeframe.
Example (2-day cooldown):
What counts as a visit:
A visit will award points only if:
Customer is logged in to their store account
The visited page has the loyalty widget enabled
The cooldown period has ended
Not counted as visits:
Guest browsing
Pages without the loyalty widget
Admin or checkout pages
Automated/bot traffic

| Promote product discovery | 25 points, 3–7 day cooldown | Increased exposure to new and seasonal products |
