OpenStreetMap

OpenStreetMap is a ready-to-go map provider for Store Locator. You can power your storefront map without any external services or API keys required.

How it works?

  • No API key required - Everything works out of the box. Store Locator provides a ready-to-go map for your storefront. You can customize the map UI and its behaviour — see Customize map and Map behaviour.
  • Choose it in Settings - Go to Apps > Store Locator > Settings > Map provider and select OpenStreetMap.

When to use it?

Use OpenStreetMap if you want a working map quickly, without managing Google Cloud billing, credentials, or API enablement.

Note:
OpenStreetMap does not use a Google Maps API key. If you previously saved a Google key and then switch to OpenStreetMap, the key stays stored until you remove it. You can delete it from Settings > Map provider if you no longer need Google Maps.
