Create Simple Redirects

Link one page to another single page to fix broken links, solve 404 issues, or implement vanity URLs.

Follow the steps below and use the annotated screenshots for guidance:

1. In the app, click on "Simple Redirects"

2. In the "Redirect From" input field, enter the URL that you want to redirect customers from. This must be written as a relative URL that doesn't include your shop domain. For example: /products/example-product

Tip ?: Remember to always include a forward slash, '/' at the start of your relative URL, otherwise your redirect won't work.

3. In the "Redirect To" input field, enter the URL that you want to redirect customers to.

To redirect traffic to a different link on the same website (within your primary domain), use a relative URL. For example: /products/example-product

To redirect traffic to a different website, use the full URL. For example: https://target-website.com/products/example-product

4. Click on "Create"

5. Test your redirect by visiting the path URL to make sure it redirects you to the correct target URL.
