If your Unresolved 404s dashboard is currently empty, don't worry! This is normal under a few common circumstances.
How Easy Redirects Tracks 404s
A 404 error occurs when a user or search crawler attempts to visit an inactive, deleted, or renamed URL on your store.
Easy Redirects detects 404 errors in real-time as shoppers hit them. Because there are theoretically infinite inactive URLs on any domain, the app cannot predict a broken link before someone actually tries to visit it.
Common Reasons Your Dashboard is Empty
Recently Installed App: If you just installed Easy Redirects, there is no existing historical database of 404 errors yet. The app will begin building your log as traffic hits broken links on your store.
No Active Broken Link Visits: If no visitors or search engines have hit a 404 page recently, no errors will appear on the dashboard.
