Where to Buy

Where to Buy feature allows you to display a list or map of physical locations that carry your products — directly on your Shopify product pages.

This helps customers easily discover where they can purchase your products in-store, whether that’s your own retail locations or third-party stockists.

Where to Buy does not require any Liquid coding or manual theme edits. You simply assign products to locations, configure the display, and install the block on your product page using a one-click integration.

This feature is available on all paid plans.

Ready to get started with Where to Buy?

Step 1: Assign Products to Store Locations

To begin, you’ll associate your Shopify products with the physical locations that sell them:

• Open the SC Store Locator app and go to Manage Locations.
  
  

• Select one or more store locations from your list.
  
  

• Click Pickup Products.
  
  

• Choose the products you’d like to associate with those locations.
  
  

• Confirm your selection in the pop-up confirmation window.

? You can also assign or update products directly from the Edit Location page.

Step 2: Customize Your Display Settings

Next, decide how you want this information to appear on your product pages.

Navigate to: Settings > Where To Buy Product

There, you’ll find two key sections:

Pickup Display Options

Choose between:

• List View (default):
  
   Displays location details in a simple, clean layout.
  
  

• Map View:
  
   Shows store locations as pins on a map. You can use this with or without the list.
  
  

Both options can be used independently or together, depending on your layout preference.

Location Details

Select which store details you’d like to display, such as:

• Address
  
  

• Phone number
  
  

• Opening hours
  
  

• Any other key information

Choose only the details that matter to your customers.

Step 3: Add the “Where To Buy” Block to Your Theme

Now that everything is set, it’s time to make the feature visible on your storefront:

• Open your Shopify Theme Editor.
  
  

• Locate the Where To Buy app block.
  
  

• Use the Auto-integrate button in the settings for one-click installation.
  
  

• Customize the block’s style (fonts, spacing, text, colors) to match your theme.

This block is built specifically for product pages and will not appear on other pages like Home or About.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

• The block only works on product pages. It won’t display correctly on pages like Home or About.
  
  

• If you need a full-featured map view across your site, consider using the SC Store Map app block as well.
