How to Temporarily Disable Options on a Single Product

If you need to turn off custom options for only one product without turning off the entire option set for all other items, follow these steps.

Understanding Option Set Status

Changing an option set's status to Inactive affects all assigned products and collections attached to that set.

Recommended Solutions

Option A: Remove the Product from Selection
1. Go to the option set's Product Selection tab.
2. Remove that specific product from the selection list.
3. Save your changes.
Option B: Create a Dedicated Option Set
1. Move that specific product to its own separate option set.
2. Change the status of that new, separate option set to inactive as needed.
