Analytics

Analytics shows what your customers searched for on your store's map. You can see which locations they searched from, whether their search returned results, and where demand is coming from. This is a paid feature on eligible plans.

Important Note:

  • "Find my location" (GPS) clicks are not counted as searches.
  • Use the date picker to choose the exact period you want to view, up to the past 12 months.
  • The default view shows the last 30 days.

Metrics you can observe

  • Total searches: the total number of Store Locator searches in the selected date range.

  • Locations reached: the number of unique locations your customers searched from.
  • Countries: the number of unique countries your customers searched from.
  • Non-success: the percentage of searches that returned zero store results.

The map

Search origins are plotted on an interactive map, grouped into clusters that split apart into individual pins as you zoom in. By default the map is hidden, so use the Show map / Hide map button to toggle it. Clicking a row in the search table highlights and scrolls to that search's point on the map.

The search table

Every individual search is logged in a sortable, filterable table with these columns:

  • Date
  • Location: where the customer searched from.
  • Country
  • Exact text: what the customer typed.
  • Autocomplete: whether Google Autocomplete helped complete the search.
  • Results found: how many of your locations matched.

Use the All / Results found / No results found tabs, or the search box, to filter the table, and click any column heading to sort by it.

Exporting data

Click Export to download the table as a CSV, using whatever date range, filters, and sorting are currently applied. This is an instant file download. Unlike bulk export, it isn't emailed to you.
